Florida leads
Florida is the number one state with 84 clubs. The sport is spreading well beyond it: clubs now operate in 39 states.
More players, more venues
About 1.07 million Americans have played padel, and roughly 30% of pickleball venues already offer it. The US Padel Association projects 10,000 courts and 10 million players by 2030.
The global picture
Worldwide, the Playtomic Global Padel Report 2026 counts 58,334 courts at the end of 2025, with 7,898 built in a single year. That is about 22 new courts every day, and 91,000 are projected by 2028.
What it means for club owners
Demand is growing faster than supply in most US markets. Venues that open now build their player base before the competition arrives.
