Padel is no longer just a sport in the US. It is an asset class. Leagues, dedicated funds and club operators are raising money to build the next wave of courts.

The headline deals

  • Pro Padel League$15 million Series A, March 2026
  • Sunrise Padel CapitalSecond fund targeting $50 million
  • Thesis DrivenInvestor database for racquet clubs

The Pro Padel League raises $15 million

The league’s Series A was led by Rick Schnall, co-chairman and governor of the Charlotte Hornets, with venture firm Left Lane Capital. The money goes to the front office, infrastructure and the event calendar.

A fund just for padel

Miami-based Sunrise Padel Capital invests only in padel. Its first fund backed clubs in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston and Denver. The second fund targets $50 million and covers padel real estate, club operators, technology and services.

New ways to finance clubs

Thesis Driven launched a database that connects padel, tennis and pickleball projects with investors. Operators are also testing franchise models with protected territories and recurring memberships, like the fitness industry.

What investors look for

Recurring revenue, operations that scale and real estate that holds its value. Courts built to last are a big part of that equation.
